Fire Safety Monitoring System

Know when a fire alarm panel loses power, a hydrant pump fails a scheduled test or an extinguisher is missing from its designated location. ValiantView connects your existing fire safety equipment to one cloud dashboard, so your team can see what needs attention and where to act.

Fire safety between inspections

A scheduled inspection confirms the condition of your equipment on the day of the visit. A detector can go offline the next morning, a pump can fail to start or an extinguisher can be moved. These changes may go unnoticed until the next inspection.

ValiantView monitors equipment between visits. It alerts your team when a fault occurs and keeps a digital record of equipment status, test results and service activity across your sites.

What the platform monitors

Fire alarms and detectors

ValiantView connects to your fire alarm panel to monitor smoke detectors, heat detectors and manual call points. It checks panel power, backup battery status and the communication circuits that link devices to the panel.

The platform compares live readings with the equipment configuration approved for your site. If a detector stops communicating, a circuit develops a fault or the panel loses power, your team receives an alert identifying the issue.

Fire hydrants and pumps

A fire pump needs to start when water pressure falls. ValiantView tests this response by automatically opening a test valve at scheduled intervals to simulate a pressure drop. It records the pressure change and checks whether the jockey pump, main electric pump and diesel standby pump start in the sequence configured for your site.

Between tests, the platform monitors pipeline pressure, water flow, tank levels, diesel fuel levels and pump controller status. Your team can see both the latest readings and the results of the last test.

Fire extinguishers

Each tagged extinguisher appears at its designated location on a digital floor plan. A simple green or red indicator shows which units are in place and which need attention. Depending on the sensors installed, the platform can flag a missing or moved unit, a change in weight or pressure, or signs of tampering.

The dashboard also tracks expiry dates and maintenance due dates. During a service visit, the technician scans the extinguisher’s QR code to create a time-stamped entry in that unit’s service history.

How monitoring works

  1. Connect the equipment. An on-site gateway collects readings from existing fire alarm panels, pump controllers and sensors.
  2. Send regular updates. The gateway sends a status update every one to three minutes. If connectivity drops, it stores readings locally and uploads them when the connection returns.
  3. Check for changes. The platform compares incoming readings with your site’s approved configuration and expected operating conditions.
  4. Alert the team. When the platform detects a deviation, it creates a digital ticket and sends an alert. With connectivity available, a fault can appear on the dashboard in under three minutes.

One dashboard for every site

Facility managers can review alarms, pump tests and extinguisher status across buildings from a single dashboard. Site teams can open an alert, identify the affected equipment and review its history before arranging a repair. Role-based access gives each team access to the information relevant to its responsibilities.

Time-stamped records bring fault alerts, test results and service visits together. This helps teams identify recurring issues, follow up on maintenance and prepare records for fire safety audits, regulatory inspections and insurance reviews.

Built for existing facilities

ValiantView works with multi-brand fire alarm panels, pump controllers and motor control centres. Its gateways support standard communication protocols, including Modbus and BACnet, so facilities can add monitoring while keeping their existing fire safety equipment in service.

The platform supports thousands of connected devices across multiple sites. Its cloud infrastructure provides 99.9% availability, encrypted communications, automated backups and disaster recovery. Open APIs support future integration with building management, CCTV and access control systems.

Where it fits

ValiantView supports high-rise residential buildings, malls, hospitals, warehouses, schools, manufacturing plants, hotels and data centres. Teams can monitor a single building or oversee an entire portfolio from the same dashboard.

About ValiantView

ValiantView has developed industrial IoT systems since 2013, with more than 3,000 edge devices installed across eight industries in India. Its fire safety platform brings that experience to building safety through hardware, firmware, cloud software and mobile applications developed in-house. One team supports the system from installation through day-to-day operation.

An on-site gateway sends readings from fire alarms, detectors, hydrant pumps and extinguishers to ValiantView’s cloud dashboard, which alerts the facility team when it detects a fault.
